Sentro 1771

I came here yesterday for dinner. great place, staff, and food!

We ordered their very famous Corned beef Sinigang. It was scrumptious! They even have taste test for the tamarind soup before they serve it.
Good for 2-3 persons already ( P595)

We also ordered another Chef's recommendation -- Rated GG! and Kangkong Adobo
Galunggong topped with fried garlic ( P445)

Kangkong Adobo (P80)

Check out their menu below for other choices.

And oh, they give complimentary watermelon seeds while you are waiting for your orders!

It is addicting and definitely keeps you busy while waiting!

Happy eating!

Queens at Bollywood

Okay. Breathe.

If you want to experience AUTHENTIC Indian Cuisine in Manila, try to visit Bollywood at the 3rd Level of Greenbelt 3.  On weekdays, this is the perfect place if you want to have quiet and casual dining with your friends.  (Since on weekends, they have live bollywood performances).

The place has a really soothing ambiance.

Adorable tables

Almost everything from their menu list has an option of having it cooked as spicy, medium or extra spicy. (I suggest you try extra spicy!) Prices are reasonable and affordable too.

We ordered their best selling pizza -- Chicken Anarkali, goan specialty -- Vindallo Mutton and Cheese Naan.
Chicken Anarkali ( P 295)

Vindallo - Mutton: Pieces of meat marinated in vinegar and blended with spices
(P 340)

Cheese Naan: Indian bread! This is the best rice substitute.
(P 145)

We enjoyed the themed resto and spicy food! I'm already planning my next visit to this place!

Nando's Singapore: The Peri-Peri Trail!

Thanks to the Portuguese boy who discovered Peri-Peri ( African Bird's Eye Chili) in Mozambique yesteryears ago!

Peri-Peri flavour plus flame-grilled chicken is perfect!

Nando's is definitely the most famous Peri-Peri chicken in South Africa! It is fast-growing and just invaded Singapore.  They now have 3 branches in the city: Bugis Junction, Tanglin Mall and Plaza Singapura.

We decided to dine at the newest among the three: Nando's Plaza Sing! (They haven't even included this location in their website yet.)

You have four Peri-Peri flovours to choose from! Lemon & Herb, Mild, Hot and Extra Hot!

I ordered the 1/4 Peri-Peri Chicken Set Meal, which comes with a choice of 2 sidelines.  It is priced at S$13.90. I picked Extra Hot Peri-Peri, Spiced Rice and Potato Salad.

 Freshly prepared

They don't serve iced water by the way. I have to buy 2 Bottled Water at S$1.80 each since the meal was undeniably hot and spicy!

My sister picked Mild Peri-Peri Chicken and it goes really well with Nando's Garlic Sauce!

Nando's, you might want to consider branching out in the Philippines soon!

Wee Nam Kee at Novena Ville

She promised me to get a new camera only if I'll be able to write at least ten food blogs this month.

I'm Jana and it's my birthday celebration today! Since I love eating and traveling, my sister and I decided to have another round of SG food trip!

Our first stop was at Wee Nam Kee Novena Ville!

I've been hearing a lot about this Chicken Rice specialty shop since it opened in the Philippines. Everytime I want to dine at this restaurant, there's always a long queue! Hence, I incessantly asked my sister to visit the flagship store in Singapore!

From Orchard Road, we took the Mrt (Red line) to Novena Station then walked towards Novena Ville, which is in front of Novena Church.

Hainanese Chicken

S$8 Good for two

Drinks are priced at around S$1.30 but they serve free soup!

Oh and they only have one store in Singapore!

It's not the best Chicken Rice that I've tried in Singapore but definitely better than other stores on the side streets!
